Conserving Land, Preserving History and Sharing with the Community
Community Garden
Our property is open to the public at no charge and includes miles of walking trails. We installed a deer fence and automated irrigation system to create a community garden. More than 40 families and a Cub Scout Pack from Mt. Lookout grew plots in the garden last year. Given the strong interest in this community activity, we are going to triple the size of the garden in 2011. We welcome new gardeners to Valley View. The garden brings together families and friends from across Greater Cincinnati.
A Little About Us
Valley View is a 130-acre nature preserve and education facility located near the confluence of the East Fork and Little Miami Rivers in Milford, Clermont County, Ohio. Valley View Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. We have an all volunteer board and a part time Executive Director - Vanessa Hannah. We were formed in 2002 by residents of Milford and others who were interested in preserving a historic farm and ecosystem for current and future generations to enjoy and learn from.
