Community Garden
Our property is open to the public at no charge and includes miles of walking trails. We installed a deer fence and automated irrigation system to create a community garden. More than 40 families and a Cub Scout Pack from Mt. Lookout grew plots in the garden last year. Given the strong interest in this community activity, we tripled the size of the garden in 2011. We welcome new gardeners to Valley View. The garden brings together families and friends from across Greater Cincinnati.
A Little About Us
Valley View is a 130-acre nature preserve and education facility located near the confluence of the East Fork and Little Miami Rivers in Milford, Clermont County, Ohio. Valley View Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. We have an all volunteer board and a part time Executive Director - Vanessa Hannah. We were formed in 2002 by residents of Milford and others who were interested in preserving a historic farm and ecosystem for current and future generations to enjoy and learn from.
From Our President

2012 Community Garden Plots On Sale Now!
February 26, 2012
Come out and see what all the buzz is about. For the third year, Valley View has large 5 x 30 foot garden plots available to rent for all of 2012. The cost of a plot is $150, $100 for those who become patrons of Valley View. Our garden is located in very fertile soil and in full sun throughout the growing season. It has an 8-foot tall deer fence to keep the critters away from your prize garden and we use pure groundwater drawn from teh abundant aquifer beneath our land to automatically irrigate the gardens. We even have bee hives nearby to help pollenate your produce. We have plans to build a permanent storage shed with shaded sitting area and possibly a greenhouse in 2012. We have a great group of gardeners and a pack of cub scouts who are always willing to lend a tiller, a hand or a suggestion to make this truly a "community" garden. Valley View Takes Over Clean & Green Spring Cleanup
February 26, 2012
Valley View has taken over the 2012 Clean & Green Spring Cleanup from Clermont 20/20. Working with the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste Management District, which helps fund Clean & Green, and the Clermont County Soil & Water Conservation District, Valley View will be spearheading this large volunteer trash and litter removal effort in Clermont County. The event takes place on April 28, 2012 from 9 until noon. Clean & Green was started about two decades ago by citizens and businesses that wanted to address the litter problem in Clermont County. When Clermont 20/20 closed in 2011, the program was in jeopardy of being terminated. However, Valley View stepped in and agreed to take over the coordination of this annual all volunteer event that brings hundreds of citizens out to beautify the community.
